‘Bidding’ means that instead of us contacting you about available properties, you are able to bid for any available property that you are eligible for. You will need to choose a home and place a bid on the property you want to be considered for.
Our letting scheme is very popular. But it does mean that you need to take the lead when applying for an available property. If you don’t bid, we won’t be able to help you.

When you see a property that you want to bid for, you need to register your interest in it. Click here for more information on how to bid.
After each bidding cycle closes at midnight on a Thursday, we will then offer the property to the bidder in the highest banding (banding A+) who has the earliest priority housing date.
If no bids are received from people in the highest banding we will then move to the next banding and so on until a suitable match is found. In rare cases where no bids are received, we will re-advertise the property the following week.
You can login to your account to find out why you were not successful with your bid.
Successful bidders will be notified by us as soon as possible. Details of the banding and application date of the successful applicants will be posted on the Recent Lets section of this website.
If we are unable to contact the successful bidder we will offer the property to the person next in line. When you place your bid, and you are the successful bidder, this will count as one of your three offers.
